How can I stop my wife’s air buds from linking to my phone

I will be talking on the phone with my own Bluetooth hearing aids and her earbuds take the call away, leaving me with no audio but the call is still running through my phone. Even if I am able to bring the call back, within a few seconds her earbuds take it away again.
