Apple Music pauses instantly after trying to play a song.

This morning I woke up and wanted to listen to music I have bought and downloaded onto my phone but when I clicked the song the music instantly paused without making a sound. At first I thought it was a issue with my AirPods so I took it out and tried again but no dice, I then closed and opened the app but it now paused even quicker but i tried this a few more times then decided to restart my device. After restarting my phone the pausing happened even quicker. I don’t know if this has to do with me updating my phone to ios 18.2.1 yesterday but I would like to get my music back.
