HomePod Mini Audio Unbalanced When in Stereo

I’m currently using two HomePod minis running on version 18.2 as stereo output for my Apple TV. I have noticed that the right speaker tends to be louder than the left one. I have swapped the speakers and it continues to be the right speaker that is louder. This means it’s likely a software issue and not hardware. I have unpaired the devices, reset both devices, repaired them, removed them from the TV, added them back to the TV, and nothing seems to be solving the issue. I used a decibel level app to be sure it wasn’t just my hearing and sure enough the right speaker is consistently 2-4 decibels louder than the left. I have found a posts as old as 2018 talking about this issue and posts from as recent as 2023. Is anyone else still experiencing this problem? Is there a known fix? I have a hard time believing this has been an issue for so long and there has not been an update to remedy this.
