Numbers spreadsheet missing data

I have a Numbers spreadsheet with several sheets that is saved to my desktop. Yesterday I changed my Apple password and my Mac restarted. Today I opened the Numbers spreadsheet and one of the sheets is missing and on the other sheets there is 6 weeks of data that is missing. Any idea how I can recover this data and why this happened? I have restarted my Mac in the past and never experienced this.
