Limited folder selection in iTunes photo transfer to iPhone
when using itunes to transfer photos from my windows pc to my iphone, it won't let me select specific folders. why?

I haven't used that feature in a long time, but if memory serves me well, you can only choose one folder.
If you want to add more than one folder the solution I used was to put the folders I wanted on the device into one parent folder and then tell iTunes to synchronise the parent folder. That will (or at least, it used to) add the folder structure as well, so each set of pictures would be on your device, but in its own folder.
