How can I access messages in icloud?

I have made a backup of all my messages from to old work iphones, that I need to deliver back to my old workplace and delete everything from. So the messages will dissapear from the 2 iphones and I wouldn't have them any more. Can I still read / see / access the old messages from the to phones in my web Icloud online?

Messages lost on new iphone, still in the cloud I recently upgraded from an iPhone 7 to a second hand iPhone 13. I backed up the old one to iCloud and set up the new one from that backup. But now I find that all of my old messages have disappeared on the new one. I can still see all of my old iMessage messages on my Mac, so I figure that these are still on the cloud. iCloud message backup transfer I currently have my text/imessages backing up via iCloud I also have my iPhone synced to iMessage on my Mac so I get my incoming messages on that device as well Just want to confirm if I turn off messages to be backed up in iCloud and delete my messages from iCloud as well, will I there be any issue with new messages going to iMessage on my Mac Thinking about specifically if I get a new phone and I want to move my old messages to the new device, I know I can send the messages from my mac to the new device but want to make sure that my mac would have the most up to date message history, appreciate any insight here!

Old iMessages not downloading to new iPhone How do I get my old messages from iCloud to download to my new phone (iPhone 15 pro)? This has never been an issue in the past. Normally after the backup all messages immediately download and I can view as far back as my iCloud history is. Currently I can only view a few months of messages.

No. Messages can only be read on an Apple device.

If you want to make a readable copy of the messages from the phone you're giving back to work, you can use an application such as TouchCopy or iMazing. Neither is free but they will do what you want. TouchCopy is Mac and Windows.
