Numbers: cells are subdivided with lines and shades
I have copied a sheet in Numbers, using it on an iPad. Some of the cells look like this in the copy (cropped screenshot with two of the cells):
How do I return them to normal?

I did some more research. Unknown to me until now, a sheet may have more than one table in it! And they were displayed over each other. It was necessary to lock the table I wanted to keep, then I could select the initial table in the sheet and delete it.
Maybe this is common knowledge. Or maybe some people will find it useful.

Hi Randøy,
Thanks.
Two tables over each other.
Click on the "v" on the right of the Sheet name to see a list of tables on that Sheet.
Click on the double table and then click on the "bullseye" (top left) and drag that top table to a blank part of the Sheet (Canvas).
Yes, Numbers allows several objects on a Sheet ("Canvas"). Tables, Text Boxes, Graphs...
Regards,
Ian.
I have known that text boxes etc could be added as objects. But that the tables themselves were such objects was new to me. I have probably used Excel too much.
