Set Formula For Latest Date

I'm surprised I don't see this in the forums, maybe I missed it. I'd like to set a formula for a cell to find the latest date with a range of dates and place that into the selected cell. Is that possible? Thanks in advance

That's easy - just use MAX()

Assuming cells C1:C20 are filled with date values, then:

=MAX(C1:C20) will return the greatest (i.e. latest) date in that range.
