Uninstall any Security Software you've installed on your Mac, using the corrected Uninstaller. Get download the Uninstaller directly from the Developer, and nowhere else. I once had tired to help someone with the same problem that they had been facing some time ago. When I had recommended them anti-malware software (3rd Party) like Malwarebytes the comment had been deleted because suggesting 3rd party application.
