Macbooks Not Roaming to the strongest Wi-fi Access Point

I work in an office with five access points (APs). However, many MacBooks do not automatically connect to the nearest AP, which causes issues, especially during Zoom calls. When users experience connectivity problems, I advise them to toggle Wi-Fi off and on, which then forces the MacBook to connect to the closest AP.The Wi-Fi channels are configured correctly with no overlap, and the APs are strategically placed for optimal coverage. Despite this, the MacBooks seem to "stick" to a weaker AP instead of seamlessly roaming to a stronger signal.I previously read that the airport command could help force connections to the strongest AP, but Apple has since removed it.Is there an alternative method to encourage MacBooks to roam more efficiently to the strongest available Wi-Fi signal? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciate

sudo airport prefs joinMode=Strongest
