Years of Service Formula

I'm wanting to calculate an employee's years of service from their hire date with no end date. What is the formula? This is the formual that I've entered and I keep getting a syntax error.

(TODAY()-A2)/365

I've also tried

=(TODAY()-A2)/365

A2 is the cell for the employee hire date
