Filtering non-trading days in a Numbers spreadsheet

Filter non trading days in numbers spreadsheet for calculating weekly, monthly, yearly returns. Formula should count only trading days as a number of days.I have tried today -7 formula in stockH, but this does not filter non-trading days.

If you have a look at the 'My Stocks' template at File > New in your menu you will see a clever way of filtering to produce a chart that does not include non-trading days.

However, you say you are calculating returns here, not producing a chart.

As you probably already know, calculating investment returns can be a complex subject.

Generally it does not involve filtering out non-trading days.

Could you share more details of what you are trying to do? o post a screenshot : shift-command-4, drag to select area, release, start new post here and use the mountains-and-moon 'Image insertion' icon beneath the compose window to attach the screenshot from the Desktop.
