Numbers keeps on hanging - How to trouble shoot? Numbers recently updated to version 13.1 And since then after a few minutes of opening, it will start hanging. This happens even if no spreadsheet is opened. I know I am using MacOS 12.6.6. (as I can't update past that). Latest Numbers table version not opening on Mac In December 2024, I last edited my table, which I usually don't save. There were no problems before, I found this open table and added data. But in January 2025, all the tables in Numbers closed, and when I restarted the computer, this particular table wouldn't open. Only its earlier versions (June, August 2024) open. I want to update numbers. It failing to open after OS update. I have I MacBookPro 15in 2016 that had OS from Sierra 10.12.6 to Monterey 12.6.9. Now numbers is not working and I don't find a way to fix that.

Normally Numbers, Pages, Keynotes and GarageBand updates will automatically pop-up in a day or so.

To manually check, go to the App Store and check for Updates.
