Unknown app/icon on apple menu bar

A strange icon has appeared in the menu bar. When I hover over it, it doesn't show anything, and the only clicking interaction is 'Quit'. Is there a way to find out which app is that? I'm concerned it could be a mlaware or something.

It's the only orange icon in the menu, with a semi circle and a dot.
