"numbers" app selectively not displaying data correctly

Numbers fields are overlaying each other in sections of spreadsheet. I tried deleting the colors,, and while it appears to eliminate the issue, there still is an underlying spreadsheet there. The issue happens only for the purple color. The second and third columns are repeated one row higher on what is apparently a shadow spreadsheet.

Your sheet contains two tables that are overlaid. That's your problem.


You can clearly see here:



Where the green O symbol indicates a table, with Column A to the right, and you're viewing rows 50 and above.


This can happen for a number of reasons... quite possibly accidentally, and more frequently with people who are more familiar with Excel's monolithic approach, vs. Numbers multiple-tables-per-sheet model.


The solution is easy - just click on that O icon and drag the table off to the side, or somewhere else where it doesn't overlap the other table on the sheet. You can even cut it and paste it onto a separate sheet if that's easier.
