CalDigit is a vendor who makes a number of products for Macs, including Thunderbolt docks.
If you are referring to a Thunderbolt dock, you would connect the Thunderbolt uplink port on the dock to one of the Thunderbolt ports on the Mac Studio. All four USB-C ports on the rear of the Mac Studio are Thunderbolt ports. If your Mac Studio has a M1 Ultra or M2 Ultra chip, the front two USB-C ports are Thunderbolt ports, as well.
Use a certified Thunderbolt cable – not a generic USB-C cable. A Thunderbolt connection has to be able to handle very-high-speed data transfers, and cables that lack Thunderbolt certification probably will not be up to the task.
