File sharing not working between Mac Studio and Mac mini

I have a mac studio and mac mini.

Sharing settings are identical on both.

Studio can access Mini, both file sharing and screen sharing, but Mini can't access Studio.

When browsing the network on the Mini, I see the Studio but once I try to connect it just shows "Connecting..." and that's it.

Same when trying to share screen. It gets the progress bar but it never manages to connect.

Used to be that when I logged out of the Mini and logged back in, it was resolved. But now it never works.

I'd very much appreciate help on this!

to make sure that you have disk access and permissions setup correctly on both Mac's.

If those look good, turn off the Firewall and/or check the Firewall > Options... on the Mac Studio.

Hmm... try disabling computer sleep on both Mac's and retest.

Turn On "Prevent automatic sleeping when display is off"

Set "Turn display off when inactive" to 5 or 10 minutes

Leave both of the Mac's On and only allow the display(s) to turn Off

Do not manually select Sleep from the Apple Drop Down menu

Thanks for responding.

File sharing is all set, firewall is off.

Since I posted I updated OS on both computers to 15.3.1.

Problem was solved for a couple of days.

Now it works sometimes, and sometimes I'm back to needing to log out and back in on the Mini.
