how to restore a deleted Numbers spread sheet

With only the title of the spread sheet (not in a folder), how can I restore it after having accidentally deleted it?

Mac mini, macOS 15.3

Go into your Time Machine backup to just before you deleted the file and restore the file from there.

As mentioned please use Time Machine to restore the file. If for some reason you are not familiar with Time Machine please click Back up your Mac with Time Machine. Time Machine requires an external HD to back up to, many experienced users recommend the OWC Mercury Elite Pro due to its reasonable price, extremely high quality and the service provided by the vendor. It is wise to purchase one with 2-3 X the capacity of your Mac's internal storage. For example, if your Mac mini has a 1TB drive, get a OWC Mercury Elite Pro with 2-4 TB.
