MacBook shows incorrect paper/toner levels for Konica Minolta Printer (C550i)

my printer service shows me that my Konica Minolta Printer (C550i) is out of Paper, or sometimes, that it's out of Toner. Even when both are full. When I re-add them, it shows me that they're fine for a while, but always goes back to being out of either toner or paper. Printing works fine regardless though, is there any way to make it show the correct paper/toner levels?

According to the Konica Minolta Support-Hotline the issue lies with the macbook and not their printer.
