Touch ID Unavailable to Setup
I am on a 2022 M1 Max Studio running Sequoia 15.3.1. I have a Studio Display, a magic mouse 3.1.1, and a Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and Numeric Keypad version 2.0.6 that is connected via a USB C to lightning cable.
Touch ID was working before I went on a one week vacation. When I returned yesterday, touch id stopped working. I attempted to troubleshoot using various methods:
- Cleaning the keyboard and turning it on and off, as well as unplugging
- Forgetting the keyboard and re-pairing it
- Updating from 15.3.0 to 15.3.1
- Restarting the setup multiple times, including a hard restart
- Deleting the keyboard files and restarting
- Deleting the fingerprints to re add them
That last one is the big issue: now I cannot see anywhere to add Touch ID fingerprints.
