Talk to text not working on my new iPhone 16 Pro Max

"Talk to Txt Not Working: My new 16 Pro Max has quit working. It worked fine for a few days, but now the microphone symbol acts like it hears me- but won’t puts words on my message. HELP"

Dictation:

Turn on Dictation. If its already on, then you should turn it off, and then turn it on.

1. Go here: Dictate Text on iPhone - Apple Support
2. Scroll to: Turn on Dictation

As it reads:

1. Go to: Settings
2. Tap: General
3. Tap: Keyboard
4. Turn on: Enable Dictation
5. Tap: Enable Dictation

If voice dictation is not working in a moving/running vehicle, try turning off bluetooth. 

Wife was struggling for weeks with this issue (iPhone15), and pulling over so she could respond to texts was getting annoying. Dictation worked fine in the house, yard, or in car if vehicle was not running - but start the car, and dictation was not functioning, even though microphone indicated it was going to work.

I tried the fixes described in TheLittles post - hard reset, iOS update, voice dictation off - reboot - voice dictation on sequence, all to no avail.

Yesterday she was driving so I started with her phone, tried the litany, again to no avail. Turned off bluetooth and dictation worked.
