I am currently in the process of buying a gift for a loved one and don't want them seeing it on our debit statement. I was wondering if I transfer money to my Apple Cash Wallet and use that to purchase my gift and if it would show up on my bank statement?

Yes your bank statement would show the amount of money transferred to Apple Cash. Viewing Apple Cash in your Wallet would show the name of the merchant where the Gift Card was purchased, but would not show what was purchased.
