Podcast Queue consistently skips queued episodes

I often queue up several podcast episodes, but lately I've run into an issue where my queue will almost always skip ahead multiple episodes in the queue. If I have A, B, C, D, and E queued up, as soon as A finishes it will skip ahead to E, clearing the rest of the episodes from my queue.

I always make sure to download the episodes that I'm listening to onto my device and I almost always listen to them at home when I'm connected to wifi. Usually when I try to manually play one of the episodes I'll briefly get an error message saying "This episode cannot be played on this device." before playing normally. I typically listen to the episodes while connected to a bluetooth speaker, either my alarm clock (an iHome), my tv (a Roku), or my car (a Honda CRV).

Restarting my phone seems to have no impact on the issue. I did try deleting the podcast app off of my phone and then redownloading it, which seemed to briefly solve the issue, but it just started up again this morning.
