Why is my hearing aid making a text tone but not my iPhone?
When I get a text messages I hear a tone in my hearing aid but not on my iphone

It may have to do with the settings you have in Settings>Accessibility>Hearing Devices. Check the setting for Ringtones, System Sounds and then in Audio Routing, see what is set for call and media audio. Was the iPhone open when this occurred?
