How to unfollow a specific podcast show on iOS Podcast app (iOS 18.3.1)?

What I’ve tried so far to unfollow 1 specific podcast show, unsuccessfully:

• 1) When I tap on the 3 dots on the upper right corner->unfollow show, nothing happens. 2) I’ve also tried to force-touch the show to bring up the contextual menu. I then press “Settings” & try to slide “Following” off, but it won’t move. It stays green & locked in place. 3) On macOS (15.3.1), I can freely follow & unfollow this exact podcast show.

• In both macOS & iOS versions of the Podcast app, I’ve activated “Sync Library” in Settings. Yet repeatedly following & unfollowing the show on macOS does not sync over onto iOS. After successfully unfollowing the show on macOS, the show no longer appears in my library there. But the stubbornly continues to appear in my iOS Podcast library. How can I get rid of it?

• As a last resort, can I mass unfollow all shows & then manually re-follow a few shows 1-by-1?
