Dictation activate always stops working

The title says it all. Honestly, I don’t see the point in describing the issue again, as I’ve already found it mentioned online numerous times, this must be a well-known problem at this point.

It completely disrupts the workflow to have to interrupt work and deal 5-10 minutes to get the dictate function work again.

Is there any serious solution to this issue?

Am no expert in this area, and have only your info. to go on at this point : sorry I have no serious solution to offer. There are multiple possible causes of the situation you are experiencing..

We can often sidestep issues by keeping MacOS up to date. Eg:Wondering if your MacBook Pro is using the newest compatible MacOS version available for that model (ie: year). as it seems to us you are using MacOS 13.4.

Identify your MacBook Pro model - Apple Support lists the newest compatible software version for each model

or

You may want to check if an update is waiting to be installed: System Settings > General > Software updates.

macOS Sonoma 14.7.4 What's new in the updates for macOS Sonoma - Apple Support

macOS macOS Sequoia 15.3.1 What's new in the updates for macOS Sequoia - Apple Support

(NB; If updating, or upgrading to a newer version: please remember it s wise to back-up your Mac first.)

Else: If you are already using the newest compatible Mac OS version ...

restarting your Mac often restores order if something is not working as expected. ie: Apple menu .> Restart

We are not hearing online from those who are likely using dictation with more success.

Wondering if those affected are sending feedback to Apple.

Although it won't help immediately, all feedack will be carefully read, and logged, by those working behind-the-scenes at Apple. Apple can then see which of the many device and computer models, and the various OS versions in use, are affected. We may then see an update that addresses the issue.
