I would like to section a table with many columns
Is there any suggestion?

Sometimes I add a blank column (or row) and make it very narrow when I want to separate parts of a table. Sometimes I use a fill color in those cells to make it more obvious.
It isn't clear to me what you mean by 'section a table'.
Can you explain what you have, and what you're trying to do with it?
If you have a table with say 20 columns, you can improve readability if you can group the columns, separating with vertical lines. Cell borders will not do. Is there other alternative ?
That is OK but I still would prefer to use a vertical line
The Insert Line option is not good since that line cannot be fixed
Then the Cell Borders option is not good because it disappears when Adding Categories
