get URL not working as expected in personal automation

I have some working shortcuts to set devices in my home via http get commands. They are simple two step shortcuts

1. URL,

2. Get contents of URL.

These are very effective, never fail or do anything unexpected.

Now I have other devices connected to Home which I also control. One of them detects a smart switches turn on and it turns on three other smart switches.

What I want to do is have that automation also perform the action of the shortcut. I have opened the automation in Shortcuts, converted it to a shortcut and then added the actions from the working http Get shortcut. The modified animation still switches the other smart switches but won’t control the device activated by the Get. I’ve also tried doing the Get part first and then the automation doesn’t activate the other smart switches. Clear the Get is not working and stalling the automation. What am I doing wrong?
