How do I dispute and get a refund for unauthorized Apple charges on my credit card?

In 2024 Apple withdrew over $1600 from my debit card and bank account for payment of apps and services I never knew were charged to me. I downloaded the Apple package with music, Apple TV, news, which I knew was 34.00 per month. In addition I had the Peacock app which has movies and tv shows. I had bank and identity fraud in 2023 that wiped out my mother’s retirement funds and all my assets. I live in Florida with my 85 year old mom and disabled brother and just keeping our mortgage paid and food on the table is a stressful balancing act. I am in no position -in any way, shape, or form to spend $1600+ for apps and other nonessential purchases. I want to send the list of charges that I am refuting and get my money returned. What is the most efficient way to send documents and written statements explaining what the charges were and why I believe I should receive a return of the sum. I am denying. paid

Have you verified if these charges appear in your Purchase History?

Charges on your device can only happen when the side button is double clicked with the amount showing on the screen, followed by verification with FaceID/TouchID or Passcode. While in most cases these charges are final because they require your Passcode on your device to make these purchase, you may be able to request a refund here:

Your subscriptions are available here:

If you use Family Sharing along with Purchase Sharing, then you have authorized your family members to make charges to your payment method on your account. You can easily prevent this from happening with Screen Time Restrictions, but you would need to do that if you also want to use Purchase Sharing.

If you do not see the charges there, it would be a strong indication that your financial information has been compromised again. In that case, it would be your bank that had approved these fraudulent charges and you would want to dispute those with the bank that issued you the card.

There has not been enough information provided to determine how those charges occured, if they were done from your device, if you are using Purchase Sharing, or if your credit card has been compromised. Just putting everything out there to help with what you have made available.
