I've nurtured my iTunes for decades as a repository of my personal work.

I've been aware of the slow shift from Apple making non-purchased recordings harder to keep unmolested, and somehow I succeeded until sometime in the last few weeks.

They're gone, and it's been so long since this was a discussion on forums, I can't remember what the remedy is.

(yes, it's all backed up, I AM, or was, a professional. It's just some of the smaller voice notes and oddities may not be there, and the whole library was worn in like an old shoe, having migrated many times from laptop to laptop.
