virtual home button keeps reappearing even though touch settings has been disabled

I recently went to an Apple center to have this fixed. My iPhone SE 3rd Gen was checked diagnostically and doesn't have a hardware issue. The tech reset and disabled the apps' time control, which she thinks causes it. All was good till I started biking and my phone in my pocket as always. After a few minutes, I checked and there it was again. Moreso, the physical home button was unresponsive even after disabling again the button on the touch setting and restarted the phone till all was well. Next day, I went out biking again, same thing happen and same on the 3rd day. I thought it might just be the cold conditions of 5 degree celsius causing the software glitch. I remember though about a 'motion' setting while on an automobile so I turned that off hoping it may have something to do with it. Any clues as to what's happening?

Does your iPhone SE still have its original battery?

And what's the Maximum Capacity % here?...
