On iOS, once you create a pie chart with a Legend, the Legend is just a text object on the sheet.
Therefore you can tap-and-hold to select the legend, then drag it anywhere on the canvas.
You can't directly add a blank line to the text box itself, since it's built dynamically off your table data, but from a spacing perspective it can be moved at will.

I don't use the iOS verion except to check into questions posted here so there may be a better way than what I did:
It's... subtle, to say the least.
I did say tap-and-hold, since that's key, but it isn't all - there is some other level of interaction that I can't quite pin down.
I will say I have a higher chance of success when the chart is selected (tap once to select the chart & legend, tap-and-hold on the legend to drag it), but even then it sometimes wants to move the whole chart around.
the legend a pie chart seem to be grouped as 1 object. if i try to move they both move so how do i deselect or ungroup them?
thank you for your very fast repl. i tried to select only the legend but it was ‘attached’ grouped with the chart.
