ios numbers pie chart legend

how do I separate the pie chart from the legend with at least one blank line? thx

On iOS, once you create a pie chart with a Legend, the Legend is just a text object on the sheet.


Therefore you can tap-and-hold to select the legend, then drag it anywhere on the canvas.

You can't directly add a blank line to the text box itself, since it's built dynamically off your table data, but from a spacing perspective it can be moved at will.

It's... subtle, to say the least.


I did say tap-and-hold, since that's key, but it isn't all - there is some other level of interaction that I can't quite pin down.


I will say I have a higher chance of success when the chart is selected (tap once to select the chart & legend, tap-and-hold on the legend to drag it), but even then it sometimes wants to move the whole chart around.
