Any issues with the latest iOS 18.3.2 software?
How’s the latest iOS 18.3.2 update? Did anyone face issues with it?
Just wanted to know before I update my iPhone 13 Pro Max.

The camera on my iPhone 15 just shows a black screen since updating to iOS 18.3.2.
Have try all the resets suggested without success. Going to Apple Store (which is 50 miles away!) this weekend to see if they can help.
I just spent 2 hours with my phone carrier trying to resolve the issue of not being able to reply in group texts. This issue came up after the iOS update on March 11. We went through all kinds of steps to try to resolve the issue. The end result given to me by them is to go back to Apple Support. So, I will get with Apple Support and hopefully get this issue resolved. Very, very frustrated!

An iPhone 6 can be updated to 12.5.7. There’ll never be another update for that model.
I thought security updates and the like are still released for older iPhones, but maybe not updates related to new features, etc.? Am I wrong?

If it’s a mixed group chat with Android users, you’re not using iMessage, but regular text and that’s a cellular service provider issue. Apple will help you troubleshoot the issue, but more than likely refer you back to your provider.
Which is exactly what I told Squirt55, but I was told they don't care what I think......I don't doubt they are having an issue. Whoever their carrier is, however, isn't doing their job.
Jeff,
I see the copy of your screenshot. That is exactly what I see when I go to my settings. Do you know when the RCS was implemented? I can’t find anything to tell me when that was implemented. I did spend 2 hours with last night and they finally said to go back to Apple Support. I am very frustrated.
As a Consumer I don’t feel like either side is trying to help resolve the issue. I am not a software engineer so I don’t know all the minutiae, however I am intelligent enough to keep probing for answers. It does not help to just say, “go to your carrier”. I am speaking of Apple Support. I want to know why we’re being told it’s a carrier issue.
I really wish they would talk to each other and not blame each other. There needs to be a meaningful exchange between the two to sort out the problem. If they are not willing to work with each other then all they do is anger their customers.
AT&T.
I have tried those switches. Is there a way to talk with Apple and AT&T at the same time?
After doing more research it seems as if it is Verizon not enabling RCS and/or Android phones. I’m thinking at this point, to pull out all the non Apple texters in the group, then starting a separate group for them. It seems awfully cumbersome but I see it as a possible workaround. I do use WhatsApp and that doesn’t appear to have these issues.
I have had success in the past with Apple Support but I seem to be running into a stumbling block with this issue.
Yes, I’ve had Apple engineers talking to AT&T engineers. Long story short, but it requires patience and a good presence on the phone to continuously raise the level. Once I got them talking the AT&T engineer resolved the issue in 30 seconds. I was a happy camper.
But yes, both AT&T engineers and Apple engineers can easily talk to each other.
The Ring security camera app appears to be malfunctioning under the recent iOS update 18.3.2 that was just installed on my iPhone 11 Pro. When login to my Ring account is attempted, the app returns a “406 Not Acceptable” error code. Please advise how this can be rectified.

Hello!
Reach out to the Support Team of the company that made the security camera.
Good Luck!
Seems as though it’s caused a few issues for me with my Face ID
My Face ID works for when I want to get into my phone, but has seemingly stopped working for a lot of my apps (banking, Apple Store etc)
I tried the usual uninstalling, deleting, switching off etc but nothing works.
The result is me having to remember passwords for a lot things which is quite annoying.

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve tried that multiple times and sadly still no joy.
iOS 18.3.2 didn't impact any of my banking apps ability to use FaceID. In fact, no app, which is set up to use FaceID was impacted. If any are for you, and you've tried the suggestions here, have you deleted the App, then reinstalled it and signed in again, making sure you set up FaceID in the banking app settings? If that doesn't work, then it's time to contact the bank directly for help.

I'm having a similar issue. The actual camera app works fine for me but if I am using any other app (Snapchat, Instagram, Fetch) these apps will only let me use the front facing camera. A couple of times Snapchat has shown me a black front facing camera screen as well. I hope they are able to provide you with some answers!
You are referring to 3rd party apps, none of which are owned by Apple and none of which Apple has any influence or control over. The App Developers of those apps need to take responsibility for anything which isn't working as it should. Apple can't touch the code in their apps.
I regret updating my iPhone 16 Pro Max. Five nights ago, while I was sleeping, my phone updated itself. When I woke up, it said “No Storage” and had Stolen Device Protection turned on. I disabled it, but my phone still wouldn’t let me delete apps to free up space.
When I restarted it, it got stuck on the Apple logo for five days—right in the middle of my honeymoon. I lost so many pictures, even though my phone WAS BACKED UP. Somehow, my iCloud removed a bunch of stuff!!!! including a year’s worth of contacts. Today, I went to the Apple Store in LA, and they had to completely wipe my phone. Now, I only have 30 photos from the most important week of my life, even though everything was supposed to be backed up.
I cried at the Apple Store because some of my best memories are gone. If you’re considering this update, back up everything manually—this update completely messed up my phone. They also said this could happen again
I have to keep restarting my phone. When I wake up in the morning, my messenger decides it don’t wanna work every single day. My microphone somehow turned itself off. I don’t know why. I don’t know how to fix it because it don’t show a microphone option anymore. I cannot call on any app. I cannot voice record on any app. I cannot take photos on any app. I cannot send photos on any app. I have to keep restarting my phone. I have an iPhone 16. It also will not let me use my mobile hotspot or my data. And yes, I fixed every bit of it to where it should. My husband Samsung S 25 is perfect. But for some reason, my iPhone 16 ain’t?
Regret updating , everything has gone haywire since the update for me. None of my apps have access to camera microphone, contacts and images
have tried the reset as well , but nothing seems to be working
My phone automatically updated to 18.3.2while I was asleep. I can’t see older messages and it won’t let me view voicemail or recent calls. How do I roll the software back so that my phone is useable. Very unhappy!
