Why does blue appear as purple on my iPhone?

i like to make things on my phone blue, but for some reason it looks purple. it wasn’t like this on my XR, is there any way to fix this? or is there a feature that i can turn off so that blue doesn’t look purple?

It sounds like your iPhone 13's display might have a color calibration issue or a feature affecting the color tones. Here are some steps to help you fix this:

1. Check Color Filters:

  • Go to Settings ➡️ Accessibility ➡️ Display & Text Size ➡️ Color Filters.
  • If Color Filters is enabled, turn it OFF. If you want to use it, adjust the settings to ensure colors appear correctly.

2. Disable True Tone:

  • Go to Settings ➡️ Display & Brightness.
  • Set True Tone to OFF. This feature adjusts the display based on ambient lighting, which might be causing the color shift.

3. Adjust Night Shift:

  • Go to Settings ➡️ Display & Brightness ➡️ Night Shift.
  • Ensure Night Shift is set to OFF or adjust the color temperature slider to reduce any warm tones.
