Copy & Paste File Names
Quite often when creating documents, especially where the new file name will be very similar to an existing file, I had been in the habit of copy and pasting an existing file name – from the listing in Finder – into the Save dialogue, then altering or adding a few characters. That is, up until OS Catalina. Now in OS Ventura, I find I am unable to do this. This means I have to type file names in their entirety, and it is very tedious and time consuming.
I currently, and for many years, have been using Open Office … because Pages simply did not provide the hyperlink capabilities I very often use. Could it be that Mac OS is no longer 'playing nice' with this program?
