Itunes artwork is all messed up on iPhone but okay on Mac

What's going on with Apple and their iTunes artwork? Half of the albums now show the wrong album cover on iTunes on iPhone while my Mac has the correct album artwork. Tried syncing iPhone to Mac but that didn't fix anything. If I was a music artist, I'd be ****** about Apple not caring enough to show the correct album artwork associated with an album!!
