Air Pods Pro 2 as hearing aids in UK

I'm interested in buying some airpods pro 2 because of the hearing aid feature - however looking at the reviews on Amazon, several people are saying that this feature is not available in the UK at the moment. Looking at Apple's website it seems it is available in the UK but can anybody confirm this before I spend my money. Thank you!
