Where can I find responses to similar issues on the Apple Support Community?

Questions without replies may be hard to answer, or come at an overwhelming moment, or may not have enough clues to work towards a solution. Old threads will get locked for inactivity, which is fine, because old threads often lose relevancy for modern OS versions.

Please state your issue in your own words, and then others may read that and reply.

Internal forum search here only goes back about three months.

A site-delimited web search in your favorite search engine may work better. This is an example of a search string that will limit responses to those posted here for a specific topic:

site:discussions.apple.com "reset SMC"

Be generic in the topic part of the string. The more words and/or details you put there, the fewer hits you get.

You can add a year to eliminate old, out-of date responses:

site:discussions.apple.com "reset SMC" "2024"

Note: there is NO space between the colon(:) after "site" and the "d" in "discussions." Adding the space will make the site limitation function fail to execute.

Another tip: coming here from a normal search engine inquiry will lead to you a bunch of out of date threads that a likely locked. Bookmmark this site map that shows all the topic areas and use that as your starting point for these forums:

The Facebook Marketplace app has bugs, if that’s what you’re asking about.

For issues with third-party apps, check with the app vendor. Meta Facebook, in this case.

A reported workaround for the white-screen app bug is to rotate between portrait and landscape orientation, as that apparently causes the app to redraw. This with the screen rotation lock disabled, of course.
