How do I fix a rotated image less than 90 degrees using the trackpad in Preview?
how can i hold / fix an image that i have rotated less than 90 using the trackpad with preview

With a trackpad, that should be a thumb and index finger rotation gesture in Preview.
However, Preview only supports 90-degree image rotation increments — so any rotation that is less or more than 90 degrees will snap to the nearest 90-degree rotation when you remove your fingers from the trackpad.
Tested: macOS 15.3.2 on a Late-2021 16-inch MBP M1 Pro.
