How can I set up a short cut to adjust the sound output on my MacBook Pro (Sequoia 15)

Using my MacBook Pro for various music projects: playing music, recording music, etc., I often have to change the audio settings for both input and output depending on the situation. Is there a way I can access the Sound page of the system settings menu directly or set up a short-cut or macro to get me there quickly?

Hello PhilKC,

You could use the Shortcuts app to create a shortcut that sets a specific volume. You can also associate that shortcut to a keyboard shortcut.

Use the Set Volume action to set a specific volume level.

Here is an example I created for someone who wanted to increase the volume level in specific increments (1%): Increase Volume Incrementally.
