How do I fix CarPlay audio not working on iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro?

All of a sudden the CarPlay connects and I can see everything but neither the sound going in or the sound

coming out work.

It did work for a few days and then stopped. It’s as if the car play is not producing nor allowing vocal commands. This is true for phone call and programs such as Sirius radio and Spotify. My phone also does not work.

Inhabe tried both CarPlay and Bluetooth to no avail. I am using an apple 16 pro. But just last week the same issue with a iPhone 13
