Emoticon Button Pop-up on Mac Suddenly Disappears

I have this kind of issue where the emoticon button pop-up just suddenly disappears after I click the emoji that I wanted, cause sometimes I want to use that emoji more than once but after I click the emoji then the pop-up suddenly disappears. Is there a way to prevent this from happening? I really hated it when it happened to me. 😭😭😭 but Idk what happened when I wrote this question the emoticon pop-up didn't disappear anymore, but when I used it to comment on YouTube it didn't work. 😓 the problem is back again 🙄
