Can I Recover accidently deleted music from my iPod Classic U2 Special Edition?

Help! I have an iPod Classic U2 Special Edition. In error, I deleted my entire music library on the iPod. Is there any way I can recover the deleted music back to my iPod? I have no idea if my music was saved to iCloud or iTunes Library, etc. I have Windows 10 or 11 on my desktop. Please advise how can I check if it was saved in iCloud, iTunes Library, etc. Someone, please help as I do not want to lose the music. Thanks!

The only way to add music to an iPod Classic is through iTunes (or Finder on a Mac), so all the music should be in your iTunes Library on the computer you originally used to add the music to the iPod.


The first question therefore is: do you still have the computer that you used to add the music to the iPod?

If so, open iTunes and look to see if your music is there. If it isn't (or you don't have iTunes installed), use Windows Explorer to check in the Music folder on that computer to see whether the music files are located there.
