Apple Book show items not associated with books

So it automatically searches ALL YOUR DRIVES, including USB, and catalogs every PDF it finds???? This is exactly what I was referring to scine I had 3 USB drives, 1 back up drive and my rprimary drive up so this means it will research if another one is added or removed.

That is not good management of resources especially when there is a FULL FUNCTIONING PDF READER integral to ALL apple OS's. I would rather like it better if it would do the same as PDF READER in that it will save whatever is on the screen as a PDF DOC.

I ENJOY finding errors in things I have and notifying the author/originator so they can be corrected. This is really essential for those who VALUE CORRECCT ENGLISH and are put off something if it gets TOO bad.

Just seems to be more clutter to GUM UP THE WORKS with nonessential listing especially all the PDF IMAGES that find their way onto peoples computers.

Guess that is it then, JUST GRIN AND BEAR IT!

What would happen if you check "PDF" to show all pdf, including from attached USB drives, did a select all, CMD A, right click any document and click 'Remove". WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO ALL THOSE DOCUMENTS?

I just found out this app is supposed to be on my iPad or iPhone but instead is on an iMac 24" using Sequoia 15.3.2 OS and that cataloging is totally inappropriate for this machine with no way to turn off or limit the capability. I can't even send FEEDBACK because it requires and iOS (iPad or iPhone) for correlation ONLY.

I do not need and do not want this on my iPad because am using it as a DEDICATED PURPOSE MACHINE to segregate different SCAMABLE SERVICES or capabilities plus my eyesight is such that am using 18pt type on my computer whereas on the iPad it would enlarge the document so much it would almost triple the space required in Books and totally defeat the paging aspect to pure scrolling.

Besides, if I eliminate Apple Books will lose the books I have purchased and would be unable to read them any more

In other words, iBooks (old name0 extra catalogs all pdg on all drives connedted to the computer every time it is started. BOYU OIS THAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MEMORY. You already have the best PDF reader on the market and you add it to another app for what purpose?
