Accepted Screen Time Requests Being Overridden/Not Working

Whenever I send a screen time request for an app, it delivers to my mom and dad's phones, and they accept it, then it shows the screen time banner notification saying that it's approved and shows how much time but simply doesn't work. It still either says "You've reached your time limit" or "Request sent". I don't know what to do and it's insanely frustrating, especially when I am not around my parents to put in the passcode. This just happened recently after updating to iOS 18.3.2 on my 15 pro max and I've tried restarting my phone and it won't work. What to do?
