Notes app on iPad - how to send cursor to the end

Using Notes on my Mac is no problem, but on the iPad it regularly reverts to the top of my note and I need to know how to get it to the bottom without having to simply scroll.

I tried using Cmd+the down arrow but that didn’t work. OS 18.3.2.

would love to know how others are doing this.
