Are there safe hardshell cases for MacBook Pro to prevent screen damage?

I have seen some info online about hardshell cases causing damage to macbooks. They say the extra weight isn’t good for it and can damage the screen. Are there any cases that are safe? I want to protect my MacBook Pro but don’t want to accidentally cause damage

never heard that, but with online stuff then it's rare that users of hardshell cases who suffer no issues with them post too many posts about it, the people who experience issues on the other hand do, which could contaminate the view if one judge but a google search.
