Why is my iPad Pro markup glitching in the Files app?

Hey everyone,

I recently got an IPad Pro for school and when I use the markup option in files it will glitch out randomly and delete all my markups regardless of if the file is saved to the iPad itself or a cloud location. I’ve had to take double the time to do my homework and it’s incredibly frustrating. The biggest reason I got the iPad was to do homework and note take easier but it’s incredibly frustrating to keep having all my work deleted every few minutes.

And yes, I’ve tried restarting the iPad and it works for a little longer than usual but eventually glitches out and I lose all my work again.

Please help.
