To do that, you need to make 2 System Settings changes.
1) System Settings > Users & Groups > set Automatically log in as > to user Name
2) System Settings > Lock Screen > set Require password after screen save or display off > to Never.
Under login password in settings, you type the old password, then hit enter for no password.
