iPad books sidebar showing on top

In iOS 18.

suddenly my sidebar in books application is showing on top (landscape mode).

it use to be on the left side

listing home / library/ bookstore

changing orientation, (portrait) it is still showing sidebar on top.

I do not have the issue in other applications, just in “books”
